22nd Shelley Scout Group
Shelley Cub Scouts
Shelley Cub Scouts meet every Tuesday evening during term time between 6.00pm and 7.30pm.
Our base is in Shelley Village Hall, however, during the summer months when it is light at night we are usually involved in outdoor activities away from the Village Hall. These can be within the village or further a field.
Boys between the ages of 8 and 10.5 years of age can join the movement which is worldwide.
We operate the cub pack following the aims and objectives of the Scout Association, a supplementary education for young boys.
We aim to give the boys experiences that they might not necessary gain at home or at school.
We take pride in our heritage both as a worldwide movement and on a local basis.
Scouting began with Robert Baden-Powell's dream at the start of the 20th Century and is continuing to thrive at the start of the 21st.
Worldwide the Scouting organisation has over 25 million members in over 150 countries. In the UK we have in excess of 600,000 people in uniform.
